![]() | Ann Bradfield is presently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in saxophone performance at the University of North Texas where she also earned a Master of Music in classical performance and Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies performance. Ms. Bradfield has recorded with the University of North Texas Wind Symphony under the direction of Eugene Corporon and participates in the annual recording of the educational series “Teaching Music through Performance in Band.” Ms. Bradfield presently serves as a teaching fellow in saxophone at UNT and also teaches in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She has studied with John Vana, Chad Eby, Jim Riggs, David Lown, and Dr. Eric Nestler. |
![]() | Jason Oliver, originally from Orlando, FL., began playing trombone at the age of 11. In high school he won the Florida Music Teachers Association annual brass concerto competition. After receiving his undergraduate degree in music from the University of Central Florida and his masters from the University of New Mexico he moved the north Texas area in 2005 to pursue his D.M.A. from the University of North Texas. In 2006 Jason was a member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra where he performed almost every day and toured 46 states and Canada. Mr. Oliver has also performed with the Plano Symphony, Irving Symphony, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, North Carolina Symphony, and the New Mexico Symphony. While living in Florida he was a musician for the Walt Disney World Company and Sea World. Today Jason is a freelance musician and teacher in the north Texas area. ![]() | Raul Escobedo is a current Music Education student at the University of North Texas. In 2004 and 2006, he performed with the TMEA All-State ensembles and during the summer of 2006, he marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard. He was an alternate in The Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival and was invited to perform at the International Tuba Euphonium Conference with the Collegiate All-Star Ensemble. Raul is currently in the Symphonic Band under the direction of Dennis Fisher, a field technician for the University of North Texas Green Brigade Marching band, the treasurer of Mu Phi Epsilon Phi Tau Chapter, and is teaching privately in the Argyle area. began playing the clarinet at the age of 11. She was a member of the Honors Band and participated in solo and ensemble as well as region competitions throughout her high school career. In her senior year Sara achieved the highest honor of earning a spot in the State Band. Sara is a senior at the University of North Texas. This fall, she will serve as second clarinetist in the UNT Chamber Orchestra. She has been a member of the UNT Wind Symphony clarinet section for three years. She is also a member of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra. She will be receiving her bachelor’s degree in May of 2009 in Clarinet Performance. She plans to return to the University of North Texas the following fall to pursue a Masters degree in Multiple Woodwind Performance. Sara enjoys sharing her talent and love for music at a Denton area assisted living facility where she volunteers to play during lunchtime once a week and at her home church during school breaks.
